With over 39 years of experience in Procurement, Susan Spence was recognized under the "Top 100 Women in Procurement" by Procurement Magazine. She was also awarded the J. Shipman Gold Medal Award issued by Institute of Supply Management in 2020.
Susan was the CPO, Sourcing Director, Continuous Improvement Manager at United Technologies Corporation for 28+ years and then moved on to become the Vice President, Sourcing, Procurement & Accounts Payable at FedEx Corporation.
She is a member of University of Tennessee Global Supply Chain Institute Advisory Board, Indiana University Transportation Board, Ohio State University Center for Operational Excellence, CAPS Research Advisory Board (ISM/Arizona State University), and The Conference Board's Purchasing Council.
